Really deserves a lot of props for keeping ABB going?

Dickie didnt keep ABB. if anyone single person is responsible for that its Gregg.

But Dickie was a great guitarist no doubt but when you're compared to the likes of Duane Allman, Warren Haynes and Derek Trucks, well you just dont stand out as much.

He will live forever in my mind, if for nothing else, for writing in memory of Elizabeth reed

Dickey did most of the writing and after Duane's death took on learning the slide on addition taking over lead. Greg and dickey were both assholes goin into the 80s however

Don't forget that famous interview, when Duane said

“Well I’m the famous guitar player, but Dickey is the good one.”
