I don't think it would kill the guy to play 10 lbs lighter

He would still be plenty big enough and might have a little more speed/agility as a guy with the ball in his hands if we look his way in the passing game

He's a fullback. His job is to block and get one or two yards if necessary. Why would you want him to lose weight? Plus he absolutely demolishes people.

I think he could stand to drop a little weight if he's gonna be getting the ball.

Think Vadal could really stand to drop some if he's gonna remain at tackle.

I think he looked plenty agile during that reception against Alabama

Not lighter, but less PT. We are too predictable with a fb in the game. We need to immulate Bama's "O" IMO. They have a power running game, but without a fb. Put an extra TE in the game or another receiver and give your qb more options in the passing game. Nothing wrong with having Copeland in there on short yardage situations, but it shouldn't be a part of our base offense. JMO.

10lbs wouldn't make a difference.

Did you know JC's first name is Javoddron?

Just say that out loud once. It's awesome... sci-fi super villain.

Little smarter would be preferable.

it would be better if he didn't carry the ball...especially in really predictable situations

Actually the coaches do want him to get leaner. He would be even better around 255-260. Which is also around the weight that NFL teams will want him to weigh

If you take away his penalties, where in the NC! The guy is a beast, but lighter and smarter would be better IMO!
