Salmon and I, along with a couple other gents, went yak fishing today at an oxbow off the Red River and did pretty well. Best 5 bass went 20.2. We lucked into some slabs while bass fishing and ended up with 6 dandies. We released everything over 3 lbs. Here is what I brought home:

Details? I've tried Caddo, Wallace, and the river for white perch and haven't had much success in the last week or so.

Eta: General color and depth? Not your exact gps location unless you want to...

Nice haul Coco

Not pot licking or internet scouting, but do any of your yak fishing areas look remotely good for duck hunting? Trying to expand my hunting horizons in NWLA now that I have that pirogue.

Also wouldn't mind fishing a little with you ERS when I get it up and running. (Live in South S'port E. Kings / Flournoy area)
