He has a legit gripe, that play that was not called was a clear hold and would have given them a first down at the 1 yard line with a chance to score and win the Super Bowl.
With that said, it's time to stop complaining now, the game was 6 days ago. Many coaches have lost games on no calls.

But how many have lost games on no calls on the last drive during the Super Bowl?

Everyone outside of Baltimore and New Orleans thinks it was holding. You should stick with the "let them play" excuse.
I know you hate the 49ers and that's fine. The game is over and nothing is going to change that, just don't tell me that your coach and fan base wouldn't lose their mind if it was y'all. Jesus Christ you people are ridiculous and the sad thing is that it makes me wonder if the rest of the SEC is right about the LSU fan base the way you people act.

I agree with him.
He should chill on the bitchfest, but the point he makes is a valid one. The game should be called consistently throughout the game, whether its the first play or last.
Same goes for basketball, too. Officials swallow their whistle at the end of games.

I said this very thing right before the sentence you quoted?

well then they don't know the rules. It either has to be pass interference or a no call. It can't be holding
contact is about to be initiated in the above picture. Ball is still in QB's hand and the receiver is withing 5 yards
ball is out of his hand here, and he is still within 5 yards. From this point on, there was a ton of contact by both guys. Including a stiff arm by Crabtree. By the rules, it should have been offsetting penalties. I've never seen that actually called

i don't hate the 49ers. That rivalry was when I was young

has Sean Payton ever criticized the refs? Has he ever thrown a complete tantrum on the sidelines? Has he blocked a coach from interviewing for a promotion?

So THAT'S what this is about

its about the fact that it was CLEARLY not holding. You keep changing the subject because you have nothing to bring to the table.

That is not the sole reason for the loss...
In fact, I would put it way down on the list. You have to play and coach well enough that the officials do not impact the game.

Btw your pics show the holding on the slot man before the ball is out

where? I see the ball out of his hand before there is even definitive contact. He's also within the 5 yard window. You sure as hell can't tell if he was holding him or not.
Just admit you didn't know wtf you were talking about

Yeah you really can. You just don't want to see it.
We're not going to agree here so let's save an hour and just agree to disagree.

You're getting owned. Time to walk away.

I think you two should fight this out for two hours.
My entertainment is more important than your work.

so you can see jersey being pulled from that picture? Contact is legal by the defender.
Anyways, the slot guy has absolutely nothing to do with the play. Blame your coach for calling 4 pass plays with Ngata out the game and Gore running for 6 ypc
If you call either of those holding, then the 49ers shouldn't have been in the game in the 1st place

You are getting owned here. It's PI or nothing.
Terrible play call, lazy route, bad throw, contact by BOTH players.
Chris Carter was correct after the game, if Crabtree runs a better route and does not run straight at the corner, it's an easy TD.

Not really. I'm talking about the slot man, he's talking about Crabtree.
Although Crab was interfered with as well.
And if I'm so wrong then why has the entire sports world outside Baltimore and New Orleans agreed that it was a penalty. A lot of people have said "let them play" and agree with how it turned out, which is a different discussion.
