You did trade Harper and Stanton with about 3 other useless waiver guys. But you got 1 stud, a guy that can carry you in the sb cat, and 3 other useful guys in return. I think I like Swamps side of the trade more here.

Yeah I just included the other 3 since they were the guys I was going to drop.
But I was in desperate need of a SS and 2B. I was starting DJ LaMahieu and Erick Aybar at those positions, with nobody on the bench behind those guys that is worthwhile. Was bringing me down, so needed to make a splash. A day later, I feel good about the deal.

Swamp def won the trade. And I wanted to make sure he would. Because outside of Tulo and Ellsbury those other guys weren't really keeper options.
So I was looking at it as if it was Harper/Stanton for Tulo/Ellsbury. Giving him a ton of depth was my only way of getting what I needed.
