For those who said Requiem had an f-ed up ending (it absolutely did) I recommend Pi. Watching it you definitely anticipate a bad ending and Aronofsky does not let you down.

A movie that does have characters that you are rooting for is Blow-Out. This movie has a sad but visually stunning ending. It is a beautiful film. De Palma's best IMO.

Memento had a fricked up ending...or was it a fricked up beginning?

I still don't know how to describe it.
