I can't remember the last time GT had a good class so to say it surprises me doesn't really make sense. Our brand just doesn't sell anymore. GT is in the heart of SEC territory and when you combine that with the limitations the schools puts on itself, just isn't appealing.

UGA did pretty terrible considering how loaded the state of GA was this year. Their class is good but it could have been great.

Stanford is the most surprising both because they're coming off 3 straight BCS games and because their class last year was so good.

They didn't have many open spots, so the small class is understandable, but they also didn't bring in as many highly rated guys as they did last year when they had 3 5-star recruits.

GT has a lot working against it, no big time stud recruit wants 4 years of mandatory calculus and a campus full of asian chicks who aren't hot. they want easy sec schools where they can major in handwriting and take "coloring within the lines 101" as their classes, and walk on a campus full of white sluts who are down with the athletes. sad story but this is the truth these days with recruits.
