Does it make you nervous that none of his proposed actions would do anything to curb the very violent acts that he is using as a soap box? You think maybe he has a much larger agenda? You think maybe he's lulling people like you to sleep by preeching about "assault weapons" in anticipation of going after your pow pows old 16 gauge when his legislation does nothing to reduce violent crimes? Don't be a fricking idiot. Make no doubt about it. He doesn't just want mean looking black guns. He wants all guns, he's just taking baby steps.

No. These ARE just feel good gestures. Let the wind blow over and we will all be ok. It's amazing how much flack I've gotten around here saying this, but it appears to be the case. Politicians want to make a show when the attention is on. Then the attention will go somewhere else and it will all be over.
