I don't ever remember seeing so much non-called holding in the endzone on safety to let the clock run out.

They could have called it, but what would it have done. The penalty is not going to put time on the clock. Holding in the endzone is enforced as a safety.

The holding was brilliant. if they call holding on you its a saftey anyway. if they don't call it you can run around and kill clock...either way the same amount of time runs off.
