TALL Receiver need

Is it too far fetched an idea to use the 6'8" frame of Rivers as a receiver? Even if it were just in certain packages? The alley oop in the end zone would be tough for a short CB's to defend. OR is it too risky?

What if he has Mett's feet and RS's hands?

And the survey says...

Bring Shaq back as a tight end. And Randy Moss

The tall WR thing gets a bit overrated amongst our fans IMO. Jarvis does fine 1 on 1 near the end zone.
That said, they split Jacobs out wide and tried a jump ball to him, so if Desean is everything he's said to be, I think they try that with him gong fwd.
I'd like to see Wright get more chances at the as well.

Does shawn bradley have any eligibility left? He's like 7'6". He would be the most dominant LSU player since trindon got moved to DE.

This is going to be a long, long offseason.

Some guys misinterpret what we mean when we say big WR. It does not always mean 6-4 or taller. It means a big and physical. He can be 6-1 or whatever. It's we need someone that can be physical and get off the line and go and get the ball. Landry started to do that better late in the year. There are plenty of soft tall WR and big small WR that play like they would be 6-5. It not about the size it if they know how to play big.

I'm more interested in the hands of a R and what kinda separation he can get as opposed how good he might be with the "alley oop".

Avery Peterson is 6'2 right? So is Dural and if Leslie ever makes it he'll be a great one. John Diarse reminds me of Landry somewhat with his physicallity. He plays big.

Maybe we could borrow one of the seven aTm has committed .
