After Midnight, Cocaine, Travelin Light and Ride Me High by WSP, and Call Me The Breeze were all written by one man named JJ Cale

"Possession" by Sarah McLachlan is largely her paraphrasing letters sent to her by an obsessed fan. He tried to sue her after the song came out but it was dismissed. He later committed suicide and sent her his suicide note along with some flowers.
