Still doesn't make sense because that in fact is not the only thing he could try. Those guys are smaller and faster than Smith. Why would he drop like 20 pounds to move to OLB, which he isn't fast enough for anyway, when he could stay the weight he is or gain a few pounds to play DE, which better suits him?
