Yep. They are saturating the SATA III interface.
Next step is SATA IV (SATA Express?)or PCI Express drives.

How much faster is a PCI SSD? I couldn't justify what they cost right now but I am curious.

Should I go ahead and get this as a HDD replacement? I save everything on an external as far torrents but I'd like my computer to be faster than it already is...
