samson, i went to public schools my whole life and i think it's bullshite. like i said, it devalues the trophy. typical bullshite of today's world where everyone tries to make everything "fair"
By that logic, it devalues the trophy by having different size classifications. There's absolutely nothing wrong with leveling the playing field. You can argue that this wasn't the right way to do it, but the privates, and specifically three or four privates, were playing by a different set of rules that made the efforts of all the other schools irrelevant.
All the planets converge, you get once in a lifetime talent and make a run at the playoffs? Doesn't matter, because there are a couple of schools in your classification that are on a different plane. Play an absolute perfect game and you may stay within three touchdowns, because they're playing with a different deck. It ain't being a pussy to think that system stinks.

Well we are a small Catholic 1 A school .. from what I understand when it comes to playoffs, 1 A and 2 A will play against each other.
THAT doesn't seem fair to me at all. Will not be surprised if Catholic/private schools pull out of the LHSAA and go to something on their own.

Exactly. Three or four schools. So who is gonna make it fair for the rest of the private school?
