Serious question-- does Patterson Hood even know how to play guitar?

Last time I saw them, Patterson had a broken arm. I've never had a problem hearing the vocals in the mix and I've usually had an absolute blast seeing them, though I will admit it was better when Isbell was still in the band. They played Fort Worth this week but I didn't go because of the little Mowgli.
But anyone else see the irony of The Doc trolling the hell out of multiple DBT threads but being the same guy who is forever getting his knickers in a twist whenever anyone dares say something bad about a Varsity show? People have different tastes, get over it.
Hope you had a good time. I've always had a blast seeing them, especially once Mike Cooley is a half bottle in.
