I'm familiar with how it works. My point was the stock has a lot of flex that will effect the accuracy if the shooter isn't mindful of pressure placed on the forearm.

Sounds like that will work. If you are not getting your desired accuracy I'd imagine adjusting this tension screw to different settings could help. I'd still go free float if at all possible. You'll love the gun. Try a bunch of different ammo and she what she likes.
