WoW is a huge time sink, but I'd be lying if I said the game wasn't fun. I haven't played in almost 14 months, but it was crazy addictive. Great game if you don't have an SO and are trying to save up cash.

I didn't have a life when I was playing WOW full blast. It is way too time consuming. Thankfully I've given it up for some games that are a lot less life consuming.
WOW is a great game though and I had a blast playing it. I'm ready for a new one.

Unfortunately, WoW manages to make this an endless cycle.
"I don't have a GF or enough money to keep buying $60 console titles, so I'll play WoW."

It's called self control. If WoW and $15/month keeps you from having a girlfriend or buying other games, then you are doing it wrong and you probably can't afford to be playing anyway.
