Not to mention everyone around Minter talks about how he is a very bright young man who is dedicated and will not bring problems to a locker room.
Manti on the other hand is either a liar or a dumbass. Either way, Minter qualifies as better on that front.

Mitnter will go in the 1st round. I seriously doubt Teo will. Teo has a lot of hype attached to him and most of the NFL scouts can sift though the bull shite.

I agree that Minter is better, but you can't necessarily look at stats to prove it. There are different styles of defenses, different offenses that they played against and different defensive lines that provide protection to LBs.

frick Teo, What a douche!!! Tell me again how many tackles he had against Bama in the NC game?

I understand that. Different schemes and more importantly, different levels of competition. I was just curious so I looked it up.

It will be interesting to see how each performs at the combine.

Calm down. These are "mock drafts" put out by media people 3 months before the actual draft will take place. The combine hasn't even taken place yet, and NFL teams are just now in earnest starting to prepare their draft boards. You very well could see Minter best Teo at the combine and fly past Teo on the draft boards. Still a lot of evaluating time left.
Teo gets the early pub because he was the most recognizable player on a team that played for the NC, while Minter was overshadowed by several "big name" guys on his team (Mingo, Montgomery, Logan, Reid). Nevertheless, the film will show that Minter had the best year of any of the LSU defenders. No need to freak out about mock drafts at this point in the process.

te'o will be slow and weak.

Yea te'o was all hype, he doesn't have the explosion or awareness Minter has at all... Minter was literally fending off Florida by himself until he went out for a series at the end of the game, that ended up giving up the final score for FL.

Matt Moscona has been saying this for months.

... Minter >>>>>> Teotihuacan ...

Teo might can use his field awareness (the INTs he gets), but physically he isn't as able as Minter is. the guy was getting freight trained by the Bama RBs. thats a big problem for the next level.
i dont' believe this emotional bull let down the last few weeks. he was riding high on those lies. had no one researched it may have never come to light...

How can a team expect Teo to sniff out the Read Option if he couldn't figure the whole fake girlfriend thing out? Sidenote: If Teo had phone sex with the Tuasopo/Lenua(spelling) person, that makes him gay right...lol.

but it's pretty obvious now, why that was. His head wasn't in it
Do what? He was invisible bc he's just not that good and had to play better competition. And he didn't get called out until after the BCSNCG... Nice try though.

If you go look at all his interceptions, over half were gifts. And that's not an exaggeration.
