There's a reason it's been around for centuries. It is, to my mind, the most recognizable symbol of an American city, moreso than the Big Apple and others of that ilk.
It never gets old and played to me.
ETA: The city's basketball team is more than "somewhat related" to NOLA.

The other logos aren't bad, but that one is terrible in name and execution. The result of trying too hard.
