Maannn I don't know. I just figured it was illegal because teams don't do it.
I understand the limited staff rule, but I promise you we would be better off not paying Patrick Peterson and having him recruit for us than paying Ensminger to be lazy and do jack shite.

Is there an example of someone doing this other than a guy working for his dad at a small school he didn't attend preparing for his future career? I would think LSU and other big schools can afford to have a full staff of coaches and wouldn't waste one of those spots on an "unpaid assistant" that was a former player that is a now a star in the pros to gain some theoretical recruiting advantage.
