Since the beginning this show has remained true to Plutarch's account of the third servile war. The only exception is Julius Caesar. I don't understand why they threw him in the mix? Its a bit ridiculous that he would be involved at all.

why shouldn't they? There is nothing in Plutarch or Suetonius saying he didn't participate in the war.

I just read up on the third servile war, I don't like where this show is headed

hopefully they go another route and spartacus continues his dominance.
