Damn. What an episode.
Caesar was definetley not what I was expecting. I didn't think he would be such a brutish man. He has a lot of such pent up rage in him. I would be scared around him. I thought he would be more noble like.
The taking over of the city was awesome. Such carnage, more than neccasary IMO. Spartacus was right to call off the dogs while they were ahead.
Spartacus impaling the guy who was about to light the grain on fire was fricking boss.
Previews looked solid as well.

Caesar won a Civic Crown before then. That meant he was in the front line and save a cohort from certain death. The cohort had to nominate him for the honor.
Then there were the pirates. Before Spartacus, he was captured by pirates. He made them double the ransom as he told them they didn't realize how important he would be one day. Then he promised to find them and crucify every one of them. He did. Once ransom paid, he raised a navy, found them, captured them, and crucified them all.
Does that sound like a dandy or fopish type?
Sulla did say he saw in him many Marius's.
