yep, yet FBI, Homeland, and whoever else combined can't get thru Joe's protections

Fantastic stuff. Apparently satellite phones are cryptonite to the FBI. Army cult guy must have taught someone everything he knew before being offed. And what was the explanation for how they knew where she was? They determined where one single phone call was placed? Really? Was that the only phone call made that day?

And should we discuss that while the FBI is apparently camped out outside of Jacob's house, both of his parents are allowed to leave to go to what I assume is their vacation home. Guess the FBI didnt find it pertinent to a) check to see if they owned other properties that he might use or b) you know, follow them or something.

The opening scene shoutout of sorts to a bitching fanbase was glorious.
"How did Joe Cole escpape in a helicopter in broad daylight?"
"They had a really good plan, sir."
Great explanation.

At least they finally acknowledged checking the visitor logs 6 weeks too late. And Joe can encrypt his internet usage from inside the prison apparently. WIN

And who else loved the nailgun on a construction site that could just fire without the safety being depressed? But let's back up - you have a small crowd in a contained area that can be easily managed and you are trying to find a potential victim and a serial killer in the crowd. What do you do?
A) Just bumblefrick your way through the crowd and noise and hope that you stumble upon them so Kevin Bacon can end up one on one with a killer again?
B) Set up a perimeter, shut down the party and search every single person on site?

Roderick is apparently super smart and capable of cracking code stuff like that. At the stand off at the house a few weeks back, Roderick was sending Emma and the two dudes encrypted e-mails.

And all they got out of it was an approximate count of the cult

So they keep saying "X New Episodes Left", not "this season", but just "left". Is this a one season show? I think that'd be great if it was, and with someone like Bacon as the lead I can see that being the original plan.

Brilliant.

And to those talking about Emma thinking she's so hot, that's a real thing.
In refineries, the bar is set so low, and there's so many hardlegs, that the term "Refinery Hot" was coined.

Could not have said it any better myself. Just stunning how many glaring contradictions exists in a single show. Amazing really.
