You know how much money it would cost major corporations to switch away from a Windows based system?
Billions which is why it will not happen.

Yeah fricking right, they'd switch WELL before they'd 'upgrade' to Windows 8.
Businesses run XP because Microsoft can't develop an OS to save their life and haven't for years and years now.
Hilarious.

They have to train workers which costs more than the software itself

As of 6/29/2012...MS had
121 billion in assets
55 billion in liabilities
Stockholder equity equaling 66 billion
Net tangible assets... 50 billion.
But they are on par with Sony ?
And why do you keep convenienty forgetting they have XBOX LIVE? Also, windows 8 doesn't "replace" shite. Companies aren't forced to upgrade. 7 is wonderful. You have brain damage

Besides big biz is transitioning to thin client virtual os anyway, and ms dominates that market too

LOL
Sears was still using some weird DOS system last I was in their store. They of all people can't afford to switch to anything. Just shows you how slow some companies are to move away from systems.
Companies aren't going to all of a sudden move away from Windows because Macs get cheaper.

You don't know what you're talking about.
Real reasons:
-training costs
-if it ain't broke, don't fix it
Is it SPF 30 or 45 for you, hog?

What? I didn't say that.
Who the frick would say that? Sony sells high end TV's and that is about it, their computers sell for shite, car audio is probably decent but a shitty market, their cameras/camcorders do well but aren't big money makers, and their phones are okay.

the entire concept of enterprise wide server/client architecture was implemented by MS. It wouldn't exist, without MS. How exactly is it shite?
If a business is too dumb to use windows 7 server that's not Microsoft's fault.

You said MS was going down the same road as Sony a page or two back or did you already forget?

I just find it funny that a few of you in this thread are IT guys and he is still arguing with y'all by making shite up out of thin air.

Right?
On par with Microsoft = going down the same path?
Those are 2 completely different things.
