The Saints just had a knack for getting turnovers on defense that year. The biggest thing I can attribute that to was Darren Sharper's presence at the safety position. I believe he helped put the back 4 (5 in dime) in the right positions to make plays. He was one smart football player.

Hawthorne's call of the Hartley game winning kick will give me goose bumps for the rest of my life. I sat on my couch holding my head in disbelief. All those years of suffering, gone.

That play, happening (nearly) right in front of where I was sitting, made a truly surreal-feeling moment finally seem real. I was witnessing the Saints playing in the Super Bowl... and they were going to win.
