It don't take much to be 'legally bling'
I've been legally blind since I was 5.
I played center field growing up and I would have to listen for the ping of the bat, and watch the 2nd baseman to see where he was looking, and hope to get a jump on the pop flys and catch them
I was a very good ball player that hit for average and couldn't see the ball most of the time.
I was lighting fast and stole quiet a few bases after I would walk.
Later I was moved to 2nd base and even though I wore glasses and later contacts I still struggled to see the ball, both at the plate and in the field
BUT
I guess I just had a 'feel' for the game, cause I was still pretty good
