Again, the OP is not describing a 4-2-5.
Even if he was, you seem to think that the 4-2-5 is obligately man coverage, when in realty cover 3 is used the more frequently (SS to strong side flat, weak CB to weakside flat, CB on strongside to deep 3rd, FS deep third, WS to deep third).

I was describing what he wanted to run the OP stated run bump and run man all game I didn't.
It really depends on the DC. Some coaches will use a Safety and some will not. But the safety really isn't a safety he's just like you said a rover. A combo LB/safety.
