You do realize that these guys (Newton, Wilson, & Colin) are not Tebow and can actually toss a football right?

You put the kind of pressure the OP is calling for and the defense is still going to get slammed. It may work on a few plays but in the long run the big plays will frick them.
An NFL defense cannot man press on all receivers and not get beaten deep a lot. In college that may be different since so many QBs suck but none of the above and RG3 have weak arms either physically or accuracy-wise.
If you want to send LBs to blitz as opposed to spy in zone you are going to let TEs/slot receivers/backs annihilate you over the middle. NFL teams in this era have freaks at these positions.
Oh and every now and then a QB will still be able to squeak out of the backfield and RBs will still break into the second level (and if the LBs are overly aggressive and miss their gaps a would-be 3 yard gain turns into 12. Oh and your secondary is being roughed up playing man so make that 25 yards. Oh and maybe the ball carrier is the rested speedy all-purpose backup who's spelling the bruiser, make that a 60-yarder).
So yeah maybe you limit the effectiveness of the read-option but you cause systemic disaster that an NFL coaching staff can easily counter on the fly.
The best defense in today's NFL isn't a scheme, it's just to be as competent at as many things as possible. Same with offense.
