Can someone help me out with this? Would I pay LA income tax?

I'm probably not going to be much help, but my wife works in KY and lives in TN and she does not pay KY income tax. TN does not have an income tax.
So I would think this would be right, but I have no idea.

You will pay taxes in the state you reside in. I accidentally forgot to change my address from Arkansas to Texas and for a couple weeks I had to pay Arkansas state income tax despite living and working in Texas.

Yep, you need to fill out I think a w4 and give it to your employer so they can withhold your state taxes for you.

Depends on if the two states have reciprocity agreements with each other.
If two states have a reciprocal agreement and you live in one of those states and work in the other, you would pay tax in the state in which you live.
If there's no reciprocity agreement, you have to pay in both states. But since TX doesn't have state income tax, sounds like you'll only pay LA taxes.
