USAA is good insurance and you'll get a big, big discount by insuring both home and auto with the same company.

i have both. i fortunally have never had a claim, but my parents have. i hear all good things through the claim process if you ever come to it. i know i get a small rebate check each year and they have minumum price increases.

I have been with Progressive forever with auto insurance. I switched to USAA for house insurance. I checked their rates for auto and USAA told me they couldn't beat Progressive even with packaging the 2 policies. Maybe its because I have been with Progressive a long time but nobody has come within $500 a year of beating their rates for auto. USAA has good home owner's insurance rates.
