No offense to Copeland, but he better find out how to do something more than smother a guy in the hole. The catch against Bama was the exception not the rule. He has a ways to go as an NFL full back.

what more do you want him to do to be an NFL-ready fullback? Neal was considered one of the best if not the best for about a decade and about 90% of what he did was block in the run game. I think JC's got that down pat, and has shown he can catch. everybody isn't Moose Johnston.

I agree. We remember all the times he pancakes a linebacker but seem to forget the times he whiffs in pass protection. I love him but he still has room for improvement.
