Vince Lombardi lost at least 1 game every year he coached.

From 1964 to 1969, he lost 3 or more games in every season but 1.

Oh, sure he won 5 NFL titles in an 7 year period but lost 2 or more games in 4 of those years. Went 9-4-1 the last year he won an NFL title (Super Bowl II). Never had a perfect season.

Maybe we just need a playoff in college football so a loss or two in the regular season won't matter as much.

Or I guess we could fire Les Miles and clone Vince Lombardi.

We had a Nick Saban once. He left. The Nick Sabans and Chip Kellys of the world are few and far between. LSU might find another.
