Buy the PM9 if you like paying extra for cosmetic touches you won't notice.
Kahr CM9 is the answer, or at least it was for me. Kahrs have a reputation for being finicky for the first 200 rounds, but I haven't had that issue with the ones I've owned.

There's a whole raft of good single stack mini 9s now, though, so I would say get whatever you like best, as long as it's a single stack mini 9. Most people aren't committed enough to carry a double-stack pistol, IMO. Or maybe you do like going around with a "shoot me first" vest on, I don't know.

If I were buying a CC gun right now, I might wait for the Springfield XDs 9 to come out, though I bet they are haaaaard to get once they are released.
I handled an XDs 45 today, and it was very nice. I just don't like the idea of only 5 rounds, even if it is of .45.
