Whenever a top recruit leaves the state, I am reminded of Janzen Jackson.

And I remember that, no matter how many stars you put next to a name, sometimes it is best that they stay away from your program.

We don't need the mean streets of Welsh in our locker room.

What a screw up.

Rueben was the top recruit in the state that year.

I honestly don't think that would have happened to him, had he came to LSU. He probably got in with a bad group up there since he didn't know anyone and it escalated from there. At LSU he would have been close to home and would have known a lot more people. A lot more people would have been looking out for him...

I don't have a problem with a top recruit leaving the state. I have a problem with ANY recruit jerking LSU around like Janzen Jackson did. Karma gave that fricker what he deserved. And I don't know anything about Welsh, but I can guarantee you that it isn't any worse than the South Florida neighborhoods that Demetrius Byrd, Dwayne Bowe, Ricky Jean-Francois and Patrick Peterson came from.

Whenever a "fan" tries to protest his hatred for Les miles by refusing to go to LSU games, and sitting on his tickets, its best that they stay away from your program, and definitely off the recruiting board.

Eddie Lacy is about the only one leaving the state has worked out for, so far.
