NFP Lande

15. New Orleans Saints: Sheldon Richardson, DT, Missouri, Junior: Although they lack experience, sources tell us that the Saints like OLB’s Martez Wilson and Junior Galette to be their outside pass rushers. Cameron Jordan is perfectly suited to man one DE spot in the Saints new 34 defense and Richardson would be an excellent fit playing at the other one

--don't think a lot of this one. added cuz Lande was a scout. and the mocks have been a little dry lately.

First thing I look at in mocks is who they have the Saints passing on. This one has 3 QBs going before #15 but the Saints passing on Dion Jordan (17) and Jarvis Jones (29). Can't see either of them that low or being passed on. I added as well cuz we were just discussing Richardson. He also forwards the thought that he is not a 23 NT but DE. That's another I can't see- a 34DE at #15?.

if Floyd some how dropped that far then yeah, I could see it

but ahhh... that ain't happening brother.

I haven't really read much about Richardson. He played a couple of years in JUCO and had just one solid season at Missouri it looks like. That was about the same route Nick Fairley went only he dominated the season before he declared.

Richardson wouldn't surprise me.. neither would Werner I think I'm starting to lean towards the players that haven't been on our radar. I'm not throwing them my vote so don't get me wrong because I hope for Jones or MAYBE even Mingo.

Ogletree is my pipe dream but I don't see that happening. We seemed to be set at ILB but I don't like the depth there at all. Vilma is getting older and has had knee problems in the past.
