what was the hardest part of lefthanded putting? distance control or short putts?
Distance wasnt bad, hardest was looking at putts from a new view

Which tour is your buddy playing on?

I doubt that it was the irons, if so you wouldnt be able to find any in stores. I have been trying for the last 8 years to get hcp from 1 to +1.
I can tell you with 100% certainty that it is putting that will accomplish it for you. I had to learn it the hard way, but man when I figured it out, it was amazing. I just wish I could have kept playing to sustain the +1. I'm still at a 2 so hopefully just staying to play again will help it get back there.
I think the biggest thing is putting within 5 feet. You have to learn to be absolutely 100% confident with those putts, and 100% confident with being ok missing a few and being able to make the one coming back. Work on those and you should see the 1 on the other side.

I have trouble with close targets. I pick a line or spot but then lose it if I look down. I do fine with regular shots because I can always find my target.

How long has he been on Web? Has he won anything?
Don't want to know who he is, just wondering if he's had any luck.

Had a 6 year run on the PGA tour with his best finish was T2. Received medical status one year which gives you 15 events to make $X amount to keep your card. He did not make that, had back issues and made it back to nationwide/web 2 years ago.

Got it last week. I've hit 520 putts so far. Dropped Ping HCP from 14.8 to 5.6 so far. Hope it pays off this weekend.

No surprise there. Disc issues?

Not sure what was the complete issue was. He never has gone into much detail about the issue. He hasn't had a great year so far. Is about 50/50 making the cut this year

Is it really that hard to drop one shot once you get to this level? Damn....

It's like breaking 80, except your short game has to be on another level. Any one can hit greens, it's making the 15-20 footers when you hit the green, and being able to scramble when you miss.

And inside 10' for par.
Posted on 4/17/13 at 12:21 pm to BRgetthenet
That's the scrambling part, one thing I can do pretty well is scramble

For me it seems I have hit a wall. I would need alot of even or under rounds to move two strokes. I play once per weekend, so not that easy

Got this as a HS graduation gift a few years ago. Still can't hit it well. Mostly hit this three wood off the tee...
Also have these...
Still swinging Ping irons (except for the 3 and 4)...
Really want to get a new putter.
