If Beckwith would have committed to Bama, ESPN would have said he's the number 1 player in the state. That's just what they do.

This is all getting way too predictable.

You are correct....I know this may seem a bit far fetched but is there any way we can communicate to them as a fanbase that this $hit has to stop?

Who cares?

All recruiting rankings are subjective. It is clear that he is one of the best players in the state.

All these comments really make us look sore. TW was never dishonest about his recruitment nor did he say anything bad about LSU. He is just a young guy who would like to play elsewhere.

He will go to Alabama where he has a good chance of being a very good player. LSU will have its own class of DL that is among the best in the country. Just leave it at that. There is no need to spout stupid crap about him not being a good player, having bad attitude, having no grades, etc.

Livonia had 2 kids better than him. They were not listed in top 50. It is about Bama.

During the Underarmour game that was less than a month ago, ESPN called Beckwith the number one player in the state. Amazing what committing to Alabama will do for you.

We as a fan base sound like a bunch of tards.

I cant beleive we are this distrought over one player. I hate the fact that Bama and Saban snatched our kid more than the rankings of that kid.

But at some point I have to look at the fact that we got a great QB from Goergia and Cali, and we got LIneman from Illinios and North Carolina. SO oh well. Let's just get the coaching down so we can move the ball and don't continue to lose bowl games.

This is one instance where I don't think it's an Alabama bias thing. ESPN doing that is for no reason other than to give it more sensationalism. They said Beckwith was number one during the UA game because that's when he was comitting. Now that he's committed, they still need to draw eyeballs, so the biggest uncommitted guy moves to the top so they have something to sell again.

the ranking hvaent updated in teh last 24 hours huh? Becuase if not then you are just talking crazy. If so then you may have a case. But I doubt ESPN is basing rankings off of committments to that degree. He was great when he was uncommitted.

They do this so they can get people who are slightly tied into recruiting to think its a big deal. Case in point, in the last 24 hours I have had 4 people who BARELY follow recruiting text me asking "WTF is going on, we can't even get guys from our own campus!?"

ESPN did exactly what they wanted to do.

He is on ESPN. Tim is mid 30s, KB is mid 40s.

don't think so - it has been known around Uhigh and LSU for the last two months he wasn't coming to LSU - the only shock is he didn't committ to the Canes or FSU.

This was just done today. A check yesterday reveals that KB was well ahead of him. Not that it really matters, but shows you what espIn is all about.
