I am interested to see how Boris Arias does. He is considered to be one of the top freshmen coming in this year. I wonder if he can take #1 from Borsos. I have always thought Borsos was a good player but a little over his head at #1.
Chris Simpson had a really solid 2nd half to the season last year and I expect him to improve. The sophomore from Derby England should be a solid #3. After that its guesswork as its hard to tell how good the new freshmen will be.

your thoughts?

Most tards have no clue about tennis or how difficult it is to play at a high level. The quickness, conditioning, hand-eye demands and mental aspects of tennis are so far over their heads that their ignorance is exposed by their comments.
Of all the sports, it is perhaps the most challenging sport, physically and mentally. Take a look at Nadal or Djokovic and tell me those guys aren't world class athletes.
As for LSU Tennis, I think we will be in the middle of the SEC which like football, is the toughest conference (although the PAC 12 and ACC aren't bad either).

I have attended a few tennis matches. Some things I know about LSU tennis:

The facilities are slated for improvement/upgrade - which is sorely needed.
Many of the players are foreign.
LSU is mediocre, but competitive.

Tennis is like this - it s very competitive and those who are on the tennis team can play at a very high level and challenge just about anyone on a given day. Somehow some players Nadal/Federer/Djocivic and/or programs (UGA) seem to be able to dominate the competition. That edge is all mental. I admire how those elites do it against such strong competition.

LSU matches are fun to attend and if I lived in BR, I would attend regularly.
