Students sitting on the baseline at the top of the court get shown on TV.. and their excitement gets felt through the TV screen.
so true. one of the many things that makes Duke's arena always seem like the roof is about to explode off the gym

The 4 LSU students and Elvis don't make the cut

Do college basketball arenas have suites? Football yes, but college basketball?
And this topic is NOT a frivolous topic. The LSU brand that we're trying to convey is not only the product on the field or floor (although that's clearly most important), but it's the entire game experience. And a big part of that is the facilities and the way they look, both live and on TV. Uniforms matter too, we don't want to look cheesy like Oregon or too stale and old. Keep it fresh. All of it has a bearing on the impression we make and on our likeability.
I've been screaming for a football uniform freshening for years. Keep the tradition, but clean up the helmet by using the Geaux font and using another tiger design (not Toonces, but something more stylized). Or better yet, get rid of the tiger head and use the Tiger eye, like the one at midfield. That would kick arse.
