how do we know the problem isn't too many North LA people in LHSAA leadership? North LA can't coexist with nonpublic schools bc they have so few of them.
they don't care if there's a split bc they never usually play them
Exactly their landscape wouldn't change much....they won't notice them gone...
If they would have dealt with Curtis/ ECA rather than appeasing the powerful on the committee that shaped the proposals....we wouldnt be in this boat

the executive committee is mostly made up of 14 member principals, 7 from the upper half of districts in each class, and 7 from the lower half of districts, plus 4 at large members and a past president of the committee.
the lower halfs of district represenatives are the principals of Mandeville, Assumption, Brusly, Doyle, Central Catholic, Hathaway, and Hackberry. two at-large members are from South LA, the principals of Terrebonne and Ecole Classique (they should have some clout)
i know Mr. Warner from Chalmette was on it a while back, but it's been a while since i've seen other true NOLA representation among the principals.
there's also Lutcher HC Tim Detillier from the AD association, two from the coaches association including former Chalmette HC Randy Johnson, one from the school boards of LA, one superintendent, and one from BESE (he's with the Orleans RSD)
