The gun store looked like the bread aisle at Kroger before a snow storm.
Had some semi-auto hand guns but the semi-auto rifles were gone along with most ammo.
This is a place that stays well stocked - said the phone has been ringing off the hook about when new shipments will come in.
Crazy stuff.

Is the glock 22 a .40 or a .45?

stay away from boats, hate for you to lose it in an accident.

Nice. I got the last gen 3 model they made right before the 4 came out. Nice gun for home protection. I'm looking to get the compact size (model 23??) for my truck and CC if I ever get around to gettin my CCL.

I had the 22 and 23. Sold the 22, and use the 23 for my CCW. Now buy a few thousand rounds, extra mags, mag holders, and OWB holster and take some classes.

Crazy Joe Divola picked up a Glock?
This is the kind of person Obama is talking about.
You should have never passed the background check.

A lot of people like the .40, including my brother. I can't stand it though. It it less accurate than then 9mm with not much more stopping power while it is more accurate than the .45 but with far less stopping power. To me it's just like the took the the downsides to the 9mm & .45 and combined them to make the .40.
Having said all that, I belive choosing a firearm is a personal choice and if a .40 is what you like then go with it. My only suggestion is to stay away from FMJ (full metal jacket) for anything other than target practice. If you are loading for personal defense, a JHP (Jacketed Hollow Point) is what you will need to go with. This is true for any handgun smaller than a .44 in my opinion. At least if you want to be certain that the first round is going to have the desired effect.

Picked up my Glock 19, Gen 3, two weeks before all this run on guns occurred.
