This is all unnecessary. 80% win%...That's all anyone needs to know. If you can't be happy with that then f*ck off; you'll never be happy.

and yet another who does not now jack shite about strategy and X's and O's and all he can do is look at wins. ok fine. do you realize miles SHOULD have 5 to 7 more wins in his record? that were the fault of on the field discipline, player management or game management? we listed them the other day.

Keep putting limitations on what we can do. Keep settling for that. Stop shooting for the stars and looking for improvement. it is what your ilk is doing.

Every single coach in the country has lost games they could have, and should have, won.

Hell, Saban has lost to UAB, Arkansas (on some last second nonsense in 2001), a Florida team that went 8-5 during our 03 championship year, Iowa (on some last second nonsense), ULM, and Utah.

do you realize how stupid this statment is? First of all, you discount the possibilty that the other coach or team has any impact on the game at all. 5-7 more wins would be 92-90 and 14-16.

Do you realize 92-14 with 3-4 national titles would be one of the greatest runs ever? To expect that or say that should have happened is unrealistic. Only a handful of coaches ever could have done that. The problem is one of them preceeded Miles here and is now at Alabama. Its not impossible, but to expect that is like expecting someone to duplicate Barry Sanders or Michael Jordan and calling those that don't failures.
