What the advantage of the enamel as opposed to the regular cast iron, clean-up? Ability to cook acidic foods?
The acidic issue is certainly an advantage. They hold the heat. Things don't stick too badly to the enamel or I don't have that problem.
You just rinse out cast iron with hot water, so clean up is probably easier with those or just a shorter time. You have to make sure they dry, though. Not an issue with the LC.
I agree. The LC is good looking stuff.
I have an enamel 6 quart Lodge that like LC. Have to get crane to lift the thing when I fill it up, though. Make chili in it last weekend.

Not a chance. The way to woman's panties is not via cookware.

Oh I was talking about cooking.
I inherited (stole) a set of belgique copper bottom pots and pans from my parents that are awesome. I mainly use the aluminum and non stick skillets from the restaurant supply store or the ever growing collection of cast iron that I have

Do you mean to tell me I have to throw out another methodology for attraction off my list?

There was an interesting article posted here (i think) not too long ago about LC being much lighter than the competition, and that's part of what makes it better. I'll have to see if I can find it.
In my kitchen, I have a couple of non stick pans (both 10 in), a 12 in sauté pan, a LC cast iron skillet (12 in), 1,2,3 qt saucepans, 2 5 qt Dutch ovens (1 aluminum and 1 enamel coated cast iron), and a couple of other pieces. Some were free, which is why i have duplicate sizes. If I had to do it all over again, I would still buy all of the aluminum pieces I have, along with the cast iron Dutch oven.
I also have a 10 & 12 qt stock pot- 1 purchased, 1 inherited. I want a 16 or 20 qt pot, and I think i'll be pretty much done after that.

Ok. And in your honor I just fried myself and my kid a fried egg in our 10" Sams Non Stick. Cleaned up easy.
Might be the only time I use my non stick pot. That and oatmeal.
