2011 was the second most successful season in college football that year. And 4th most successful season in our program.

So you don't look at W/L to determine success?

Had LSU been favored in 5-6 games in 2012 and somehow managed to win 10 games I would have called that a very successful season.

However, winning 10 games when you were favored in 12 is not a success IMO. We loss two games to teams we were favored to beat. I don't know how "success" can be used to describe losing games you shouldn't have lost.
