Not without some MAJOR changes in team mentality, player accountability, coaches acceptance of change from year to year based on that years best available talent usage, team discipline and possible change to coaching staff. Just my two cents.

I think 8-4 will be a realistic goal for the 2013 team. Saban would have a stroke if he went 8-4 at bama, but miles will still get his canes so he'll be happy

NO! Matter of fact what the hell has Miles done in the past 8 years? He has embarrassed LSU year in and year out, and weaseled his way to a bullshite NC. Any other coach would have dominated that a-hole Nick Saban with talent like LSUs.

Actually, you can probably take a trip to the AD and see both of them most weekdays. There are also replicas at the Cook.

Hiring Kirby Smart away might not be such a bad idea. He seems to be Saban's most relevant protege'. If Les crashes over the next couple of years, both he and Alleva could be shown the door. Keep in mind, LSU will eventually have a new President.
