I don't disagree. But the staff and players at Auburn thought the same way. Some seasons you're just not equipped to contend. If that's the case for LSU next season, I'm saying it would be ok as long as we show improvement.

College football starts a new era in 2014 and that's when I expect our roster to be championship caliber again.

No, but soon they'll be the norm. Get used to it.

no its not buts its going to happen due to our defense being mostly sophmore and freshman. You would be crazy or just a homer not to expect 2-5 loses next year.

No offensive changes and huge loses on defense replaced by freshman and sophmores. Going to be rough next year ...

I as a fan always hope for the best, but just because the players and coaches state their yearly goal to be a championship doesn't mean it is realistic yearly.

Uh we return just about everyone on offense and had tons of freshman play this year. Obviously you lose some playmakers but by no means should anyone expect rebuilding

We return an offense that was horrible, if the past 5 years area sign the. There will be no changes, 4 new DBS, new DE, having to find new leaders on D.

This is going to be Coach Fudd's downfall.

LSU reloads. Period. The term rebuilding should never be muttered when talking about our program.

Our staff recruits not only studs that can come in right away and compete, but they recruit our needs.

The Faggies are losing their top defender who was a monster and Johnny Football is going to say goodbye to his 2 OTs that are 1st rounders. UGA is losing the meat of their defense and most likely Murray. Bama is losing alot of talent along both their lines. UF is losing offensive weapons and they defensive studs.

No it won't, but since the AD gave Les Miles a raise and extension, we have no choice but to endure his abysmal offense and poor Gameday decisions.

3 would suck, but I could see it. I'd like some offensive improvement though.

5 is just unacceptable with the way we recruit. We don't rebuild, we reload.

No. A coach in his eighth year cannot use loss of personnel as an excuse. His job is to recruit and develop players to play. Injuries and suspensions are a part of the game. So is losses to the NFL.

The only thing I am willing to give any credence to is the fact that our conference schedule is ridiculous compared to other teams in our division. And yes, that is a valid reason and not an excuse.

Absolutely not. I considered this year as a rebuild. Played a lot of youngsters and broke in a new QB. We are not in a need to blow it all up and start over on offense. Some minor adjustments would mean wonders. A new OL coach and using all your weapons would do it. Drop the testosterone level and use more deception and looks. Cut down on hitting by 2/3 as the season winds down. I can see a 14-0 NC season easily, and I am by no means a Miles fan!!

We don't rebuild. 2 losses max, I predict 11-1.

I feel with our setbacks this year, our record was surprisingly good, but not acceptable.

It is hard to stomach seasons like 2008 and 2009. I pray we don't go through that again.

I won't be surprised if this year's team doesn't finish in the top half of the SECW.

I actually think the defense could he better next yr. Nobody on our defense this yr stood out anyway except for Minter everybody IMO underachieved. Our offense will be improved with another yr together under their belt. We will be in the championship hunt no doubt!!

Our entire offense is coming back and should be much better too. We have a very good coaching staff and we were stacked on defense.

Gonna be some angry people this year.
