The S&W is a high quality gun. Of course, with all of these the trigger pull is heavy, but that is the safety. Any shooting will be done at close range lessing the importance of the trigger pull. You certainly don't want it hanging on something and going off.

Started to begin a thread here to get the pulse from the people here cause I put a lot of stock in what I read from many of our posters here- just as you just made a valid point.

The only practical reasoning for a magazine safety is if you're in a tussle with a perp and you need to disable your firearm so it can't be used against you. But if you hadn't pulled the trigger already, you made a mistake.
Anything that prevents the gun from firing if you make a small mistake, like accidentally popping the magazine, is not something that sits right with me. I prefer a point-and-shoot without worrying about that. And if the mag pops out, at least I can fire the round that's in the chamber.
That being said, I have an SR9c and its a fantastic handgun. It could easily fit in a purse but is not as slim as others since it has a double stack magazine. But if she can handle the extra weight and width, I highly recommend it.
The shield is also different when compared to the LCR and air weight. It's a single stack semi auto and not a revolver. That's why I asked if you would be open to the idea of a semi auto. The shield is great if you can find one.
