Saw every game he ever played in the old "Cow Palace". There was magic every time he took the court. He was so much better than anyone else at the time. Bird, Magic Johnson, Isaiah Thomas and many, many more copied his moves.

Playing for his dad was probably a bad idea but if it hadn't happened that way we never would have gotten him here to LSU. All the criticism about him being a ball hog, taking too many shots and he and his dad exploiting LSU was just so much baloney.

No one else could have gotten the shots off against double and triple teams that he did and still hit 44% of his shots. But it was his dribbling and passing that were phenomenal. A showman of incredible talent. A wizard who cast his spells during his brief moment on this earth. I will never forget him.
