He's not having that great of a year and we'd have to give up a big piece to get him (EG or Ryno + others) just to make the salaries work. If he doesn't improve, he's the kind of guy that we could get next offseason (when we have a bunch of cap space available) for a future pick and someone like Jason Smith. I'd much rather just be patient and let the young guys develop this year, then next offseason go after a Gay/Granger type trade or sign someone like Iggy.

This is the reason a Gay trade is a non starter. Acquiring him becomes a lateral move at best. You'd need a 3rd team really over valuing Lopez/Vasquez and our pick to make it a viable trade.

Please!! I would give first round pick this year, Lopez, Aminu, and Rivers, plus a little cash.
Whoever says I'm an idiot for not waiting on rivers, look in the mirror...Guys terrible
