And think about it from the perspective of the players: they would all have a 4-year degree in SOMETHING, which would sure help out if they had a career-ending injury early on.
And what if they don't graduate in 4 years? They can't go pro then?
This thread is as dumb as they come and I don't even know why I'm in here. As someone has already said, your reasoning is nothing but pure selfishness.

And think about from this perspective. Say you force them to stay an extra year when they could have gone to the NFL and made a guaranteed million dollars or more, get seriously injured in that 4th year, and then cant make an NFL team.
Now they're stuck with a sports management degree, no NFL job, no real job prospects...but hey at least they dont have any student debt to pay off

A lot of these players have kids...who are you to tell them that they can't go pro and provide for their families?? Please tell me you understand this...if you don't, you, my friend, need some help.

If I was going to have a career ending injury at 22, I would prefer that to be my rookie or 2nd year in the NFL, not as a senior in college.
Stop being selfish. These guys put in hours a day year round to play football at the highest level, entertain all of us and earn LSU millions and millions of dollars. I wouldn't fault a single one for cashing their lottery ticket as soon as they could.
